Marketing and Production Coordinator

Role Description:
This role provides support for marketing and production in relation to the organizing, preparation and trafficking of film assets for theatrical and home entertainment releases.

Material Delivery
Monitor incoming film deliveries and verify all materials have been supplied as per the contract
Organize materials on company common drives so they are clearly labeled and easily accessed
Facilitate the delivery of outgoing artwork files and metadata to all digital platforms
Liaise with Head of Production & Delivery and Marketing and Creative consultants to ensure all deliveries (both incoming and outgoing) stay on schedule
Maintain communication with outside vendors to ensure materials such as artwork and trailers are delivered on time

Marketing
Initiate the first drafts of marketing and publicity materials upon receipt of delivery assets
Pull clips and screengrabs from feature films for marketing and publicity use
Track and monitor the production of marketing materials such as artwork, trailers and posters
Distribute marketing materials post completion to digital platforms and marketing sites
Take notes during film marketing meetings and organize for future use during marketing material creation

Production
Oversee pre-production of DVDs, including document set-up and chapter creation
Assist with the QC for Blu-rays and DVDs
Maintain production input fields on the database and website
Ensure trailers are uploaded and monitored on YouTube, Vimeo, Film Movement website, etc
Help oversee interns and provide overall support in relation to production-related objectives

Media Rights Management
Maintain YouTube content matching and prevent pirated content from appearing online
Report new and expired film titles to E&O insurance policy
Monitor Amazon Prime video platform to ensure content is live in a timely manner and presented accurately


Film Movement Plus
Maintain Film Movement Plus schedule and ensure content is submitted on par with Amazon delivery timelines and SLAs
Submit monthly avails for new Film Movement Plus releases
Create XML metadata on a weekly basis for new Film Movement releases
Monitor Vimeo and Amazon Film Movement Plus platform

Qualifications

Experience with Print Production and Graphic Design
Strong Communication skills
Project Management abilities to ensure tasks are completed effectively
Sales skills to support outreach and promotional activities
Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
Proficiency in relevant software and tools
