Film Mode Entertainment, an active boutique entertainment company focusing on Worldwide Sales and Distribution is looking for a development intern. Interns are an INTEGRAL part of the company with opportunities for a range of hands-on contribution, including but are not limited to: script coverage, screener reviews, development notes, festival and market research, film market preparation, infrequent errand runs, and help keeping the office space tidy.
This is an unpaid, educational internship ideal for candidates looking to understand how their creative and/or production experience can be applied in the world of film sales and distribution. Student internship credit is available; however, it is the student's responsibility to organize this with their school.
Interns will learn how to evaluate a project's commercial potential and assist in film market preparation. Interns must be able to commit 3 days per week, working primarily remotely with the opportunity to come into the office.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Slides
- Experience with Story Analysis/Film Analysis
- Strong writing skills
- Positive Attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with story analysis
- Previous sales/trade show/convention/event/production experience, a plus
- Foreign Language, a plus
Internship Start Date/Season: mid March 2023
Internship Duration: 3 months
Time/Days Required: 3 days/week
Workplace Requirements: Hybrid
