Full Job Description
Location: Burbank, CA
Position: Social Media Specialist & Influencer / Creative Content Writer
Job Type: Part-time (Possible promote to Full-time in the future)
Working Hour: 20 hours per week (Flexible schedule)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, No Night, No Weekend
Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour
Overview:
If you are a cinephile and you know social media well , we need your help!
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist/Content Writer who will play an important role in actively working towards bringing our studio's works exposure across social media channels, as well as brainstorm new ideas for creative post content. You will assist in planning, execution and optimization of our online exposure in an effort to raise our sales and customer base.
The ideal candidate loves the film and tv entertainment industry and its importance to our business.
Understands social media, and how to engage audiences by creating content that will ultimately increase our exposure and customers. The ideal candidate will also be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the internet can become a strong tool for revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Create exciting, compelling, and engaging content and posts to promote across our social media accounts, inviting connections with producers, directors, director of photography, production companies and creative agencies etc.
- Creatively hash-tagging to leverage from algorithm and relevant search words
- Daily social media posting (writing, editing, posting) to increase our current followers on different platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
- Schedule future* posts, reels, story, publish and monitor, and reply to comments as needed that fuel conversations and create relationships
- Ability to propose and assist in the formulation of creative collaboration strategies to build a lasting digital connection with the audience
- Following and staying on top of trends on each platform and understanding how to change strategy gain more viewers as well as followers
- Research to acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
- Provide creative ideas for content marketing, working with the CEO to create social media marketing campaigns
- Monthly newsletter creation (new services, the latest development, case studies etc.)
- Help maintain and drive the social media content calendar across all channels
- Develop and implement a strategic calendar for film festivals or any events related to film and tv
What will make you succeed:
- Loving film and tv, new media, entertainment industry; especially interested in post-production, and a keen eye for detail is a big plus
- Taking direction well, yet involved
- Great communication and multi-tasking skills
Requirements:
- This job is only opened to US Citizen and Green card holder
- Minimum of two years social media marketing/promotion and experience with creative content on visual (graphic and video)
- Excellent understanding of digital platforms, and their effect on marketing
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media is a must
- Excellent skills on graphic design, creative visual development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, high energy, outgoing personality and proactive approach
- The understanding of post-production is a plus
