Marketing Project Manager & Copywriter (Full Time Contract)
Fever Content is a full-service creative strategy and marketing agency based in Los Angeles. We build innovative content for brands, musicians, influencers, entertainment studios, and are experts in the emerging virtual and hybrid film festival space.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Marketing Project Manager & Copywriter to manage a small team working across multiple digital marketing projects. This is a 3-month full-time benefits contract position to start, with the opportunity to transition into full-time employment upon successful project delivery.
The Marketing Project Manager & Copywriter job position is a multi-faceted role that works closely with Senior Management to ensure marketing projects and copy are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest level of quality. A Marketing Project Manage & Copywriter plans, manages and guides work efforts across a portfolio of digital marketing projects while providing excellent, on-brand copy for a wide variety of clients.
A successful Marketing Project Manager & Copywriter must be a detail-oriented self-starter, excellent communicator, and comfortable managing a portfolio of small to medium-sized digital marketing projects. Additionally, they must be willing to learn, eager to grow and comfortable working in an ever-changing startup-like environment with an interdisciplinary team of creatives.
Responsibilities:
-Successfully plan, manage and drive on-time delivery of digital marketing projects using agile project management processes.
-Act as the account manager and communication touch point for high-profile clients including film festival directors, musicians, film directors, and more.
-Utilize internal processes to ensure the team's efforts are properly directed and clearly communicated.
-Provide up-to-date, accurate, meaningful reporting of project status, resource capacity, and costs.
-Quickly and effectively identify project delivery issues, generate potential solutions and present them to upper management.
-Assist in the creation of various pitch and deliverable documents for client projects.
-Act as the conduit between project teams, clients and senior management.
-Quickly and effectively generate high quality copy for use in digital marketing campaigns, newsletters, social media content, websites, and more.
-Work with creative leads to generate brand voice and content strategy.
-Work with Senior Management to oversee interns and process onboarding of new hires.
Minimum Qualifications:
-1 - 2 years experience in project management.
-At least 1 year experience in writing copy for social media platforms.
-Experience leading small interdisciplinary teams.
-Self-motivated and results-oriented individual who takes pride in everything they do.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-A lifelong learner who is willing to get their hands dirty and help the team hit ambitious milestones.
-Ability to work effectively with individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds and/or with different points of view.
-Based in Los Angeles, CA or willing to commute to Los Angeles.
-Experience with Agile project methodologies.
-Understanding of shifting content trends in the digital media landscape, and platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience working inside an Agency or with high-performing Marketing teams.
-Experience managing two different types of projects IE: software, film, product, marketing.
-Experience managing client relations for small to medium-sized projects.
-Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
-Passionate about all sides of film, TV, and music video production
-Experience with Squarespace.
-Experience hiring and managing organizational finances
-Experience with Agile project methodologies.
