Social Media Manager Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and passionate Social Media Manager to lead and execute ground-breaking, multi-platform social media campaigns.
A successful candidate will be able to define social media strategy for a broad set of immersive & traditional projects, set customer-centric campaign goals, and build analytics-driven performance reports. The ideal Social Media Manager shows understanding and know-how of transmedia storytelling and is someone who possesses an entrepreneurial nature, a self-starter mentality, a deep knowledge of social media trends / influencers, and strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
-Build and execute social media campaigns that drive user engagement and growth on new and existing entertainment platforms
-Serve as our in-house social media expert and point-of-contact with clients, brands, and social platforms
-Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and implement ongoing improvements to drive ROI
-Create progress reports based on project goals and relevant social marketing metrics. Present in-depth, monthly reviews to senior leadership.
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency resources
-Draft and publish social media content across all channels using TBD social media management tools/software. QA posts before and after to ensure accurate publishing with proper links
-Implement data tagging on all posts to support ongoing analysis of social performance
-Conduct and compile research as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
-5+ years of relevant experience working in entertainment, media, or relevant industry
-3+ years managing social media channels with demonstrated growth
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or similar.
-Candidates must demonstrate interest in the advertising, media, and/or social media fields.
-Self-starter mentality with an ability to work in a demanding, highly dynamic start-up environment
-Experience managing budgets and supporting creative, production, and business teams
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Google software suites
Preferred Qualifications:
-Passionate about entertainment and XR tech
-Experience working with enterprise social media management platforms
-Experience running social media for live consumer events
-Experience managing influencers campaigns
-On-set, event, or agency production experience a huge plus
