Business Development Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Consultant to join our multifaceted and dynamic team of creatives. The ideal candidate is a hard-working self-starter who has deep experience leading successful new business development initiatives.
Join us for this unique opportunity to work in the ever-evolving world of immersive entertainment and drive all primary business operations for a growing entertainment startup.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute high-level business development strategy
Meet quarterly revenue targets by identifying and converting potential clients into paying clients
Solicit, cultivate, and maintain direct relationships with companies and people specializing in film, television, music, and XR
Build and manage our internal client database
Expertly manage contract negotiations with potential and existing clients, ensuring sustainable economics for both parties
Collaborate with our marketing team to ideally position our brand for short and long-term success
Maintain a pulse on the latest events and movements in film/TV/music/XR and attend relevant events and conferences as a Fever Content representative
Create and present a detailed monthly reports to leadership team
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years experience in a business development role [transition needed] track record of success in a fast-paced, quota-carrying sales role
Strong desire to bring on new businesses as well as grow an existing book of business
Self-starter mentality with an ability to work in a demanding, highly dynamic start-up environment
Demonstrated data-driven approach to new business development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfort in working with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
Knowledge of film/TV/Music/XR trends
Preferred Qualifications:
Existing client base includes brands and immersive companies
Experience spans both entertainment as well as enterprise verticals
Passionate entertainment and XR tech consumer
Experience in media/ad sales a plus
