FerenComm is currently seeking candidates for our Spring 2021 Internship Program (Part Time/Remote Only).
For those interested in the world of entertainment publicity, an internship at FerenComm is an industry master class and a unique opportunity to gain real hands-on experience under the supervision of the firm's incredibly talented staff. We specialize in the promotion and publicity of critically acclaimed and award winning TV and audio content for some of entertainment's most beloved brands including AMC, ABC, AppleTV+, Audible, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, CNBC, BBC America, IFC, Freeform, Audible, National Lampoon, SundanceTV and more.
FerenComm's comprehensive internship program offers participants the chance to support an extraordinarily passionate and dedicated staff in all campaigns handled by the agency - the kind of experience that truly benefits the college student. Our team oriented approach allows students to collaborate on campaigns from start to finish and be exposed to various aspects of an always changing entertainment ecosystem.
Candidates should be passionate about television and pop culture, be self-motivated and detail-oriented, possess solid communication, organizational and writing skills, be a proficient mult-itasker and have the ability to meet deadlines -- most importantly, candidates should be personable, approachable and professional - and they should be willing to work hard and have fun in the process.
Our interns gain new skills and advance their understanding of the industry through a broad range of tasks including the monitoring of breaking news related to the agency's clients, updating and researching media lists, first hand experience in being trained to present in front of a group along with how to draft press materials that the press will notice. Interns will achieve a working knowledge of the broadcast and print press from both consumer and trade outlets, and gain insight into the entertainment industry. Please note this is a remote position and interns must have a working home office and be able to join weekly virtual staff meetings.
