POSITION OVERVIEW:
The full-time Graphic Designer will aid the Fenway Sports Management Creative Services team in the design and development of sales and marketing materials for FSM, and all of the prospective sponsorship partners and consulting clients of Fenway Sports Management and Fenway Sports Group properties. This includes the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Penguins, Liverpool FC, RFK, and NESN.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop sales presentation materials using Microsoft PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on storytelling and bringing exciting concepts to life visually
• Design graphic elements and materials requested by all FSM departments, including Sales, Consulting and Events, Experiences and Special Events
• Ensure all FSM presentation materials are updated frequently and the highest quality standards are maintained from a technological/design standpoint
• Help to maintain imagery and asset library
• Develop new and innovative ways to present ideas, concepts, and assets to clients and partners
CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficiency in PowerPoint is a must, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Experience with After Effects and animation preferred
• Experience with SalesForce a plus
• Studying/studied graphic design, sports marketing, or equivalent
• Well versed in major social media platforms and content specific to each
• Passion for sports marketing, media, promotion, sponsorship sales, and telling a story through visual design
• Creative thinker willing to consistently bring new and innovative ideas to the FSM Creative Services team, including ways to present FSM capability, as well as delivering assets for clients.
• Self-starter, and ability to work both independently and collaborate creatively with a team
• Well-organized with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Must be able to work in the FSM office 4 days a week.
