Summer Intern - Social Media

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

FEARnet is the premiere multi-platform movie network for horror, thriller and suspense available On TV channel line-ups, On Demand and Online.

FEARnet is currently looking for interns to start working immediately with its Social Media team. Interns will work directly with the Marketing Coordinator, Manager and Directors to interactively market FEARnet content to social media communities and network sharing sites. Researching influencers, media and talent social sites will be the bulk of the internship. Interns may also moderate content on various sites to increase brand and programming awareness. They will also become familiar with communities and trends in the digital space to identify impact on FEARnet.com. Finally, the Social Media intern will create Weekly Marketing reports highlighting the social outreach for the week for Executive Management.

The Social Media department is looking for someone who is a curious and sharp undergraduate interested in marketing, journalism, and new media. This is an excellent way to get a foot in the door at an evolving multi-platform network. The ideal candidate will have social media, digital and online community experience and will keep abreast on industry trends and activities. Ideal candidate must be able to prioritize, research, meet deadlines and most importantly multi-task.
