This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Fearless Records, an independent record label in Los Angeles, is looking for interns! If you wish to apply for a summer internship, please send a cover letter and resume. Please specify which department you would like to be considered for. You must be able to work 2-3 days a week, from 9am-6pm, at our offices in Los Angeles, CA, and be at least 16 years old. We are willing to work around your school or work schedule, so do not hesitate to apply. Internships are unpaid, but we will help take care of any paperwork needed for earning college credit. Be sure to include all prior work experience and any experience you have related to the department you are applying for.
Note: We do not provide online internship positions for international or long-distance applicants in other countries or states. If you wish to apply and are out of state, please make arrangements to relocate to Southern California for the duration of your internship. We apologize for this stipulation but we cannot accommodate all applicants.
We will have internships available in the following departments:
• Tour Marketing / Street Marketing: assisting the tour marketing director with the promotion and marketing of tours and shows, maintaining and organizing the release of tour dates, researching other tours, venues, promoters, etc. Working with street-teamers to complete projects and missions, sending out promotional items and prize packs, promoting the street-team and helping add new members, assigning and collecting missions, corresponding with the street-team leaders
• General Marketing: assisting the director of marketing, helping compile research about other marketing plans, researching other artists and labels, helping organize the release reports and assisting with putting together the marketing reports surrounding all label releases, tours, etc.
• Product Management: research based, compiling data on past projects, researching other bands, labels and other promotional plans, helping proof-read documents, general organization of documents and projects
• Music Licensing & Brand Management: research based, looking up music supervisors, assisting our brand manager with researching shows, movies, projects we could pitch our music to for syncs and licensing, researching product placement and brand marketing and seeing how it could apply to our bands
• New Media (Viral Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Online Promotions): marketing online campaigns, videos and the use of viral marketing, mobile apps, etc.
• Digital Content Management: social networking, online trends and content creation, tracking social reach and growth as well as understanding strategic marketing in the digital world
• Video: edit and create music videos and content videos for our social sites, create lyric videos and assist with the production of video promotion
• Graphic Design: design web graphics and promotional items for roster of bands, help develop creative concepts and merchandise ideas, source vendors and prices for all kinds of products, build tech pack and define color sheets for vendors, understand band branding and translate into merch items
• A&R: Persistently search for up-and-coming artists. Must have good ear for music. Must be knowledgeable about relevant sounds. Will work directly under A&R director. Some of the duties include research into local markets, spreadsheet building, and logistical scheduling. Proficiency in either Apple pages or Microsoft word/excel preferred.
