Job Description Summary:
FBE is looking for a passionate & focused Talent Manager to lead efforts within our new Direct-to-Consumer division. This role will be responsible for establishing new relationships, signing talent, & developing new products with existing well-established online creators. You will oversee the entire talent relationship and manage their internal product development cycles to ensure a best in class experience.
The right candidate should have a deep knowledge of the social media & online creator space, with specific proficiency across YouTube, Instagram & TikTok influencers and brands.
This position will lead efforts within our new Officially Pinned division, which aims to celebrate online creators and their fans, who are revolutionizing the entertainment industry together every day. Through unique, one-of-a-kind products & merchandise, we aim to give audiences another way to represent their communities, while providing additional revenue to creators looking to diversify and grow their businesses.
The Talent Manager, Direct-to-Consumer role reports directly to our VP of Consumer Products.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop new talent relationships & sign new creators
Support & develop new products with our current roster of top-tier creators (Shane Dawson, AsapScience, iJustine, Trisha Paytas, MyLifeAsEva, & more)
Coordinate talent social media promotional marketing campaigns
Research trends within the YouTube & online creator merchandising space
Oversee internal product design & development timelines
Assist with Shopify, Facebook, Amazon storefront management and fulfilment
Ensure all deadlines & timelines are met, and all social marketing and website information is always accurate and up-to-date
Analyze, organize and integrate large amounts of information into clear, concise presentations and plans
MAKE COOL STUFF
Requirements:
Demonstrated direct experience and knowledge of the online creator space
Proven ability to build and maintain client and industry relationships
1-2 years working directly with top-tier digital talent (YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok)
A creative eye towards compelling social marketing campaigns
Fluency across all major Social Networking platforms
Basic knowledge of Shopify and Amazon Seller platforms, all G Suite Applications (Gmail, Docs, Calendar)
Awareness of YouTube & internet culture, memes, vernacular, pop culture etc.
Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Proactive, independent, and maintains a tenacious work ethic
Flexibility in schedule and willing to work nights/weekends when necessary
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring all deadlines are met appropriately
