Operations & Marketing Intern - Summer Semester

Established in 1994, Fat Beats is a hip-hop record label and vinyl distributor. The company seeks an intern for marketing and operations assistance. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, cataloging submissions, assembling press kits and marketing blasts, filing, and creating one-sheets in the Adobe Suite. Those with knowledge of the Adobe Suite are highly encouraged to apply.

This internship is available for school credit only. Those interested in studio work need not apply.

Our distribution arm presses vinyl for Stones Throw, Plug Research, Rhymesayers, Decon, Nature Sounds, etc. Our label's artist roster currently includes Black Milk, Union, Kool G Rap, Vast Aire, Large Professor, KRS-One, Ill Bill, Akrobatik, Sadat X, Q-Unique, Roc Marciano, and many more. We recently inked a deal with two brand new artists, and many exciting opportunities are available for a motivated intern. This is an unpaid position, but Fat Beats is a company that recognizes talent and rewards hard work.
