Fancy is a busy post production finishing house in Silver Lake, just east of Hollywood, specializing in Non-Narrative Series and Features. We are a small shop with a great working culture and an emphasis on training and professional development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Advise CEO and Controller on creating accurate bids during the sales projects.
-Main point of contact for clients with Post-Sales projects.
-With the help of Operations Coordinator, coordinate jobs with Head of Picture, Audio and Tech departments to ensure proper resources are available for multiple concurrent projects and clients.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Senior In-House Producer must have knowledge of the following workflows. While we work primarily on Non-Narrative longform (features and series), our work also ranges from corporate/commercial to Narrative feature/series:
Audio workflows including: Prep, Audio Conforming, Dialog editing, SFX editing, Foley, Sound Supervision, Re-Recording Mixing, including ATMOS, 5.1 and stereo.
Video workflows including: Resolve conform, color, deliverable creation. Premiere / Avid to Resolve workflows, HDR Dolby Vision and HDR10 Workflows
Mastering and deliverables file based workflows including: ProRes, H264, DCP, IMF, NAM, GAM.
RESPONSIBILITIES + TASKS:
Work with the Operations Coordinator to schedule sessions, turnovers, and deliveries with clients and heads of departments to meet deadlines.
Monitor studios and staff to assess problem situations and report said problems to heads of departments.
Expedite sessions that look like they are running over, maintain goodwill with clients and staff.
Anticipate and address client needs, maintain the client's desire to keep you as Point of Contact.
EXPERIENCE + SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years' experience in post-production/finishing preferred.
A technical understanding of color/online/audio and deliverables for post-production.
Ability to track multiple schedules and update them as they change.
Scheduling knowledge and experience.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.
A positive attitude when problems arise and an ability to look at all options to find a solution.
Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Excel proficient.
