Video 2 (V2)

This is a Full Time Job

The V2 role sits in the second seat during show productions and captures/switches the show using a combination of robotic PTZ and handheld cameras. The V2 Tech must be able to adapt to new technology quickly and assimilate it immediately into show production.

Interview and onboarding the next 2-4 weeks. Our domestic tours resume the 1st week of January. Trying to get someone 1st or 2nd week of January

Responsibilities

Operate and control 2-3 PTZ cameras during live arena shows
Assist with live video switching under direction of the V1/Show Caller
Execute cues and transitions using OBS Studio and Stream Deck with Bitfocus Companion
Support load-in, setup, and strike of cameras, video control systems, cabling, monitors, and networking, and assist the lighting team in load in/load out as needed.
Ensure video equipment is properly maintained, tested, and show-ready each day
Collaborate closely with the V1, Lighting Tech, and Technical Production Manager for cue execution
Maintain clean shots, smooth pans/tilts, and confident camera pacing during fast-moving production elements

Qualifications

Adhere to tour safety protocols, arena procedures, and backstage workflow
Must be able to lift and move production equipment safely.
Mac OS experience preferred
