Entertainment Public Relations firm that specializes in Film and Television.
Primary tasks will include:
- Clippings / distribute daily press break memos
- Answering phone calls
- Setting up appointments
- Sending out email campaigns
- Assist with press pitching
- Prepare and maintain status reports, tune in notices, wrap reports
- Assisting during press days and press events
- Covering press screenings
- Maintaining press databases
Requirements: The successful candidate for this position will have had some schooling in the communications or film studies fields. Excellent communication and writing abilities are a key competency in this position. Skills in Microsoft Office and Google Docs suite are required as is a general proficiency with computers. Candidates should be savvy with online media and social media platforms. In addition, the successful candidate should be creative, hardworking, and a responsible recent college graduate that has a strong interest in publicity, films, and film festivals. This is an on-site job in New York City. You will need to be vaccinated from COVID-19 since most sites and festivals you will be attending at require proof of vaccination.
Ideal candidates must be dedicated, detail-oriented and eager to assist the department's overall operations.
