Senior Director, Marketing and Fairchild Studios
Fairchild Media Group is seeking a Senior Director, Marketing, and Fairchild Studios to join its global marketing team. The role will serve as a primary liaison to the sales team in the development of revenue-driving programs and program execution across ad sales marketing and the FMG custom content studio. Specifically, you will manage key B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, and collaborate with your colleagues to create, orchestrate and implement cross-platform strategies utilizing FMG-owned assets across the portfolio including WWD, Beauty Inc. Footwear News, and Sourcing Journal.
Responsibilities
• Serve as a key liaison between sales and marketing to ensure cohesive collaboration, interpretation and on-time delivery of campaigns.
• Conduct meetings with internal (sales, events, design, research, PR, editorial) and external (clients, vendors, photographers, PR, wranglers) stakeholders to communicate campaign objectives, timeline, and desired outcomes and deliverables
• Ideate, produce, and manage Fairchild Studio custom content programs including the creation of sponsored content franchises and programs, timelines, and organizing all creative deliverables. Includes but is not limited to: Podcasts, Video, Social, Industry Roundtables, Webinars, Editorial, and Custom Reports
• Oversee a team that creates, tracks, and reports campaign progress briefs, budget, and media strategy for ad sales support and custom content programs.
• Represent FMG at designated industry events where necessary.
Qualifications
• 10 years’ experience in marketing, specifically in digital media
• 5 years managing a cross-functional team of marketers
• Outstanding project management skills
• Experience in/knowledge of both B2B and B2C marketing/custom content development
• Understand the omnichannel media landscape, mainly digital, social, and native content
• Experience in interpreting data to drive marketing campaigns
• Working knowledge of the fashion, beauty, retail, and footwear industries from a business perspective
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, matrix environment
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A very collaborative, curious, and creative self-starter
• Highly organized, proactive and strategic, agile, and attentive to detail
• Positive energy and pleasant demeanor
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• A willingness to adapt, with a curious mindset and a commitment to creating an inclusive work environment
Typical wage range: $110k - $140k
Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits. As part of our company-wide rollout of PMC’s paid healthcare plan, effective for this role July 1, 2023, the company will pay 100% of the monthly health, dental and vision plan premiums for the employee and their family.
