Interns will work closely with our team to learn the ins and outs of scripted television development and production. By tracking submissions and researching current programming and development, interns will come to understand what goes into developing compelling scripted content. Interns will also participate in project-based learning as they create grids, pitch decks, and provide script coverage, mirroring the development process.
Our interns assist with day-to-day operations of the company and provide input to the development branch. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Read incoming material and writing coverage
- Generate writer, director, and talent grids for potential projects
- Research and pitch potential project ideas
- Prepare additional development materials
- Participate in bi-monthly lectures that cover different topics and areas of the industry as well as Q&A's with writers and executives outside of the company
This internship is unpaid and for academic credit only. Start and end dates and internship hours are flexible to meet the needs and requirements of the student and university, but our target start for the Fall semester is the beginning of September 2023. Our target end is the beginning of December 2023.
