The VFX Producer at Eyeline Seoul leads the end-to-end delivery of visual effects projects, serving as the key link between clients, creative leadership, and internal teams. Partnering closely with the VFX Supervisor, they translate creative vision into actionable plans by managing schedules, budgets, and resources, while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
They oversee day-to-day show operations, drive clear and professional communication, and proactively solve problems to mitigate risks and maintain momentum. The role also emphasizes strong client relationship management and team leadership, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment that supports both creative excellence and operational efficiency, ultimately ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Address client feedback promptly and effectively
• Provide regular updates, including weekly status reports
• Collaborate with clients to manage scope changes while aligning on creative goals
• Present solutions with clear financial and schedule implications
Bidding, Budgeting & Financial Oversight
• Review bidding materials and develop accurate, assumption-based bids
• Partner with Production Finance to create and manage project budgets
• Track financial performance to ensure projects meet profitability targets
• Maintain accurate cost reporting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle
Creative & Strategic Partnership
• Partner closely with the VFX Supervisor to align on creative vision, client strategy, and delivery goals
• Balance creative ambition with practical execution, ensuring feasibility within constraints
• Support decision-making that drives both quality and efficiency
Production Planning & Resource Management
• Develop and manage detailed production schedules and delivery plans
• Strategize render planning and resource allocation to meet project demands
• Collaborate with Resource Managers to secure and optimize staffing
• Ensure alignment across departments regarding timelines, priorities, and dependencies
Risk Management & Problem Solving
• Proactively identify risks, challenges, and potential roadblocks
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and production needs
Leadership & Team Management
• • Oversee day-to-day show operations to ensure smooth execution
• Lead, mentor, and support the production team, including performance feedback and reviews
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing team environment
• Maintain strong team morale and a positive production culture
Qualifications
• Minimum Qualifications
• Three (3) years of experience as a VFX Producer on large scale feature film or episodic television projects
• Experience on a large (500 shots) multi-vendor production
• Deep understanding of budgets, resources, and schedules
• Experience in managing project budgets, including tracking bids vs. actuals and generating cost reports
• Advanced skills in Excel, Shotgrid, and other database systems and production tools
• Ability to lead and motivate large teams under tight deadlines in a positive manner
• Must be able to work within a fast paced, high change environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Proactive and agile problem solver with an analytical mindset
• Willingness to collaborate with others and give/receive feedback
• Respectful and positive attitude
• Passion for film and VFX
• VFX related education is an asset
Preferred Qualifications
• Bilingual in English & Korea
• Experience on high complexity VFX work (creature or FX heavy work preferred)
• Technical understanding of visual effects workflows and pipeline
• Interest in generative AI work processes
• On-set experience for VFX-related shoots
• Experience in outsourcing and managing external partners
• Capable of building and managing professional relationships with executive level clients
