We Have Four Internship Tracks:
TRACK ONE: EveryGirl World Directing and Producing Content (Remote, Unpaid) Working in partnership with local schools, we will be making short documentaries about the lives of girls, and how they want to create change in the lives of others. EveryGirl will facilitate interns into writing-directing-producing teams, who interact with teen girls to document impactful stories. These mini-shorts will then be screened at our quarterly national forums. Come collaborate and share your stories with us!
TRACK TWO: Public Relations / Social Media / Content Creation (Remote, Unpaid)
Young folks interested in journalism, podcasting, blogging, tik-toking, instagramming and engaging on social networks- come help us spread the word about the Girls State of the Union! You may also be co-running our bi-monthly newsletter, if that better suits your interests. We need your help to reach as many girls as possible- so we can truly get the stories of Every girl. Only you, with your recent experience and genuineness, can reach out in a way that truly understands and acknowledges the challenges many teens are facing today. We need your unique voice and stories to help gather the unique voices and stories of teens of marginalized genders everywhere.
TRACK THREE: EveryGirl Community (Remote, Unpaid)
Are you organized, passionate about issues teens of marginal genders face, and interested in learning about how to be on the ground and bring organizations into the fold? To get teens of marginalized genders the information and resources they need and want, we need a solid foundation of networks and partnerships full of information, support, and community care. Come share your voice and help us build a network of girls organizations in all 50 states.
TRACK FOUR: EveryGirl Administration (Remote, Unpaid)
This track will provide an opportunity to work closely with the Founder and CEO of EveryGirl. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, keeping records of communication, and any other administrative items requested. Track four is perfect for you if you plan on pursuing a Business Administration degree or just want to get some real world experience. Bonus points in getting a letter of recommendation from the Founder and CEO herself.
