Everpost is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Editor in Los Angeles, California. We are a fully remote post-production company headquartered in Marina del Rey. We are seeking a team member who is passionate about film and would like to join our growing company!
Job Description:
We need an assistant editor with prior experience in a post-production house, with high volume projects.
Are you extremely efficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Premiere Pro and Media Encoder?
Do you have experience with Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Frame.io, Asana, and Google Drive?
We are counting on you to be organized, dependable, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented!
We are an international and remote team, so you need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.
You need to be a quick learner, friendly, and able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Reliable internet is a must!
You will need to travel occasionally to our studio in Marina del Rey, to log and transfer media from all shoots, and help maintain file organization, asset management, and backups.
This L.A.-based position requires you to be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Your editing skills will be used to:
-create proxies
-organize project and file structure
-prep turnovers for sound, color, and VFX
-conform sequences for final delivery
-project and asset preparation
-finding and licensing stock footage/music
-media ingesting
-assembly
-asset relinking
-exporting and uploading of cuts
-technical troubleshooting
