Associate Producer, Prediction Markets
Eventual
San Francisco, CAThis is a Freelance Job
Associate Producer
What is Eventual?
We're early. That's the opportunity. You'd be one of the first people in the room, helping shape what this brand sounds like, who shows up on it, and what people talk about afterward.
This role starts as a contract, with real potential to grow into full time as Eventual scales.
The job
We're hiring an Associate Producer to make Eventual impossible to ignore on X, help us win on Substack and YouTube, and find and book the people who make Eventual worth watching.
This isn't a traditional social media or talent coordinator job. We want someone with terminally online energy and an actual radar for who's about to matter.
You understand why the funniest brand accounts land and corporate posts don't. You also see a market move, breaking story, or cultural moment and immediately know who we should get on camera to talk about it.
The content and booking sides of this job feed each other. You know what's happening because you're living in the timeline. You know who's interesting because you're following the people driving the conversation. And once we get them on the show, you know how to turn what happens into something the internet wants to share.
You will:
* Come up with post ideas daily, sometimes hourly, connecting what's happening in the internet's bloodstream to Eventual.
* Know the meme before it's a meme, and know when a trend is dying the same week everyone else discovers it.
* Spot the trader, founder, forecaster, journalist, creator, or sharp voice who suddenly matters and get them on Eventual.
* Own the booking cycle: find people, pitch them, get the yes, sort the details, and get them scheduled and prepped.
* Work with production to find the 15 seconds in a show that's actually going to move.
* Work with editors and clippers to turn those moments into something that spreads.
* Post like a person, not a brand account run by committee. Reply, quote tweet, start fights (the good kind), and be part of the timeline instead of broadcasting into it.
* Help build a voice for Eventual that people recognize before they see the logo.
Who we're looking for
We want someone with something to prove. Someone who wants to be part of the reason a new media brand became a thing.
You live on X. Not ''active on X,'' you live there. You know today's discourse before we bring it up. You have taste: you can tell the difference between a post that's actually funny and one that's just trying to be.
You also have a nose for people. You can look at a trending topic, news story, or wild Polymarket swing and immediately think of three people who'd be great to talk about it. You understand the connective tissue between news, internet culture, and prediction markets.
You're comfortable reaching out to people you don't know. You can write a cold DM someone actually answers, make the case for why they should come on, and follow through until they're booked.
You move fast without needing a lot of structure. We're not handing you a content calendar or rigid booking pipeline. We'll give you context and trust your judgment.
You can take a rough clip or half formed idea and see the version that gets millions of views. You can take a story that's starting to move and see the guest who could make the conversation ten times better.
If any of that made you a little defensive, that's information.
What you'll actually do
* Pitch and write social content across X (primary), Substack, and YouTube.
* Track trends, meme cycles, prediction markets, and news in real time.
* Build and manage a constantly fresh pipeline of guests across prediction markets, news, culture, tech, and the internet.
* Reach out, pitch, and close guests, then handle scheduling and prep.
* Partner with production to identify great segments and clip worthy moments as shows are being made.
* Partner with editors and clippers to shape those moments into posts built to travel.
* Engage as Eventual through replies, quote tweets, and threads in a voice that feels like a person with opinions.
* Build relationships with traders, forecasters, founders, journalists, creators, and other sharp voices we want in Eventual's orbit.
* Help define what ''Eventual's voice'' is as the brand grows.
Qualifications
* A track record showing you can make things move online: accounts you've run, posts that popped, brands you've helped grow, content you've made, or an audience you've built.
* Real fluency in X/Twitter culture, internet humor, and how virality actually happens.
* An ability to find interesting people and get their attention. Formal booking experience is great, but instinct and the ability to close matter more.
* Strong communication and follow through. You can pitch, schedule, and keep things moving without dropping the ball.
* Fluency in prediction markets, or the ability to get fluent fast, plus genuine interest in news and culture.
* Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and minimal process.
* Willingness to work as a contractor, with the flexibility and pace that comes with it.
We're not filtering by degree, title, or years of experience. We're filtering by whether you're actually this person.

Additional Information
Eventual is a new media brand for the prediction market era, where a small army of sharps and forecasting savants can provide real odds on various topics, including elections, culture, sports, and the news cycle. This previously exclusive knowledge was confined to group chats and private servers, and Eventual aims to democratize it for a wider audience. The brand presents news through the lens of ''what are the odds,'' delivering content that is fast, opinionated, and genuinely entertaining, rather than resembling a traditional trading terminal with a content team.
