Summary of essential job functions
* Equipment testing and optimization for the continued operation of TV Stage Productions.
* Installing, configuring and testing new equipment.
* Troubleshoot/repair problems with audio, video, computer cabling and systems used in production.
* Setting up and operating equipment for remote productions.
* To develop and maintain effective working relationships when performing assigned responsibilities.
* Assist in the ordering, acquisition, inventorying, and disposition of hardware and software.
* Assist other facility engineers as necessary.
Minimum requirements
* Bachelor's degree in broadcast production, computer science, or related field and three years experience.
* Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills.
* Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Experience thinking critically about systems and workflow, in a timely manner.
* Attention to detail, organized and thorough, with desire for continuous improvement.
* Experience with Microsoft Windows Environment and all Microsoft Office products.
* Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues.
* The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Valid CA Drivers License with insurance.
Abilities required
Have the ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, twist, pull, push, work on ladders and in confined spaces. Successful candidate will be required to be on-call 24/7 and may be required to do some local travel.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
