Position Summary:
The Maintenance Engineer shall oversee the day to day activity of building maintenance, vehicle maintenance and building security. Ensure that all equipment therein is maintained properly. You've always been curious about how things work and if something stops working you can't help but fix it and make it like new again. In this role you will respond to facility issues such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Ceilings, Floors, Doors and Windows. The successful candidate will possess initiative and drive, have broad relevant technical knowledge with good people skills and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
• Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
• Take Proactive Action to correct ongoing equipment related problems with little supervision.
• Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings.
• Maintaining statistical and financial records.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to all direct reports;
• Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
• Assist with new projects involving installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment.
• Report and post daily shift logs of issues and activity involving the Play to Air environment.
• Interface with other supervisory/management personnel to ensure company's goals and objectives are met;
• Provide leadership and acts as resource to other departmental managers/supervisors
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in progressively responsible maintenance positions, preferably including a position as maintenance crew lead; Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organized and thorough, with desire for continuous improvement.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows environment and all Microsoft Office products.
• The ability to troubleshoot to a component level.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues.
• The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Burbank, CA [no relocations]
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work holiday or weekends on short notice and may be required to do some local travel.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have the ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, twist, pull, push, and work on ladders and in confined spaces.
• Must have valid CA Drivers License with insurance.
