--- The Role
EST N8 is seeking a Festivals Executive to support international festival strategy and execution across a slate of premium Asian films. The role focuses on festival positioning, submissions, relationships, and festival-driven visibility, working closely with filmmakers as well as internal sales and marketing teams.
This is a full-time, remote role (global; Europe preferred) with an immediate start, ideally suited for candidates with 2-3 years of experience in film festivals, sales, distribution, or PR.
--- Key Responsibilities
• Festival Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute global festival strategies per title, assessing festival fit, premiere potential, and section placement
Manage submissions and track festival calendars, deadlines, eligibility, and outcomes
• Relationships & Representation
Build and maintain direct relationships with festival programmers and teams
Represent EST N8 across all festival-facing communications and collaborations (talks, showcases, awards)
-PR & Festival Visibility
Lead festival-related PR, including announcements, selections, and premieres
Align messaging and track press coverage across the festival circuit
-Internal Coordination
Work closely with sales, marketing teams, and producers to align festival strategy
Maintain clear reporting and share insights as strategies evolve
--- Who You Are
2-3 years of experience in film festivals, sales, distribution, PR, or related roles
Strong knowledge of international film festivals and markets
Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages a plus
Highly organized, confident communicator, comfortable managing multiple titles remotely
Passion for international cinema and global film ecosystems
