Fall Intern - International Sales and Marketing

Internship Duration: 4 months
Time/Days Required: 20 hours a week
Our Interns will be exposed to the worlds of international film sales and markets as well as film finance and operations within the company. A good place to meet the professionals in the international film industry and build up your own connection.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales
• Interns will be asked to do general administrative and project based tasks.
• Research potential buyers, platforms, and distribution partners across various territories.
• Draft and edit correspondence with buyers, including availability updates, follow-ups, and meeting requests.
• Support the team in managing screener links, password distribution, and tracking buyer feedback.
• Help maintain and update CRM databases with client communications, offers, and deal progress.
• Will learn about the art of negotiating/closing a deal and the major deal points involved in a distribution deal.
Marketing
• Interns will be asked to do general administrative and project based tasks.
• Research potential buyers, platforms, and distribution partners across various territories.
• Assist in developing marketing materials (sales decks, brochures, email campaigns) for international film markets.
• Manage social media and digital outreach efforts to promote our film lineup.
• Track marketing performance and collect data for campaign reports.
• Support the creation and distribution of newsletters, press releases, and promotional content.
Throughout the internship, interns will have the opportunity to sit in on company conference calls and meetings and schedule Q&A sessions with all executives allowing for a more in-depth and well-rounded learning experience.
SKILLS
• Basic office software skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, etc.)
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp or similar design tools.
• Proficient in handling high-volume email communications and managing complex Excel reports with speed and precision.
• Proficient/confident in writing & speaking English.
• Proficiency in languages other than English is a plus.
• Independent, self-starter, proactive, motivated to learn with a positive attitude.
QUALIFICATION
• Can start before 09/01
• Must be willing to commit to the end of December 2025.
• Must have a laptop.
• Must be passionate about Film, TV, and the entertainment industry as a whole.
• Knowledge of industry platforms such as Cinando, IMDbPro, and FilmFreeway is a plus.
• Major in Film & Television, Media Studies, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related fields (preferred).

The two companies will focus on international sales of Thai, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Indonesian titles. ''The goal is to bring Asia to the World, forge new partnerships with filmmakers from the East and introduce new premium Asian film and television IP to global audiences,'' the partners said in a statement.
