Salary Information: $77,080 to $108,350 annually, depending on location and experience.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, online/multimedia, or related field.
Years of Experience Required:
• At least 4 years in fast-paced social media environment with content creation responsibilities.
• At least 3 years using video editing software (e.g., Final Cut, Premiere).
• At least 3 years using photo editing software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign).

Job Description:
The Senior Social Media Specialist at ESPN will create and manage content across ESPN social media platforms, focusing particularly on college sports. This role involves content creation, strategy planning, collaboration with various internal teams, and leading projects from inception to completion. The position requires overseeing direct reports and requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create visual, video, and text content optimized for social platforms like Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and Facebook.
• Manage and strategize content planning for college sports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce compelling and comprehensive social content.
• Edit and approve posts for accuracy, relevance, and tone.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on social media trends and best practices.
• Analyze social content performance and integrate insights into future content strategies.
• Supervise and lead a small team of social media professionals.
