In this role, the Operations Producer manages the execution of the operational, technical, and logistical aspects of remote-based sports television productions. The operations producer will be required to interpret, implement, and manage the application of departmental standards related to remote television broadcasts and their impact on the accuracy, cost, and timeliness of assigned events. The Operations Producer will lead and coordinate both event preparation as well as on-site oversight of all aspects of remote broadcasts from start to finish, in collaboration with Operations Management and Production.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees all operational and technical aspects of assigned remote events.
• Provides guidance and training to Remote Operations staff, including Operations Coordinators and technical crew.
• Ensures that appropriate timelines are met for technical and financial planning.
• Creates event-specific paperwork, including surveys, tech books, and post reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Facilitates troubleshooting of complex technical, operational, and personnel issues on-site.
• Oversees crew time-entry, travel, and overtime approvals.
• Addresses performance issues on-site as necessary.
• Possesses advanced knowledge of current broadcast standards and emerging technologies.
• Assists in the development and implementation of new technologies for remote-based events.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of related technical, operational planning, and procurement experience.
• Requires regular travel to remote events, including international locations.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the year.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment, and workflows.
• Proficiency in data compilation, information distribution, and presentations using common software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of software-based tools relevant to broadcast planning.
• Experience with comms workflow in broadcast planning.
• Established relationships with third-party vendors and clients in the broadcast industry.

Salary Information:
The hiring range for this remote position is $98,564.00 to $152,020.00 per year, depending on geographic location, knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be part of the compensation package, along with medical, financial, and other benefits based on the position offered.
