Job Summary:
The Project - Marketing Coordinator, CreativeWorks position will act as day-to-day support to the ESPN CMS CreativeWorks team with multiple functions, including assisting the CreativeWorks and Sports Management with sales opportunities and executions as well as various administrative duties. This position coordinates the execution, communication and delivery of all on-air TV sponsor elements to the NFL, ESPYS, Golf, Lacrosse and Tennis sport properties.
Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Director, CreativeWorks and collaborates with the CreativeWorks team to provide support in creating customized opportunities for ad sales across all mediums (TV, digital/mobile, print, events) and regions
• Serves as the main contact between DTCI-CMS departments to identify and create marketing opportunities within the portfolio of Ad Partnership sport properties
• Supports with productions Coordinating Producers, Directors, and Producers with the delivery of sponsorship content
• Acts as the liaison between the different groups within DTCI-CMS and supports the development of multi-platform integrated marketing programs
• Collaborates with the Ad Sales' teams and clients/agencies to assist growth in existing and new partnerships and to develop added value opportunities that provide incremental revenue
• Responsible for implementing, managing and creating day-to-day timelines for our sponsorship integrations which requires communication with Sports Brand Solutions, Creative Services, Commercial Operations and Production
• Works with clients to ensure timely creative asset development, approval and production timelines
• Develops and maintains relationships with DTCI-CMS, agencies and clients by providing expertise and knowledge in creating and developing sponsorship opportunities
• Serves as the internal liaison between DTCI-CMS, Creative Services, Studio & Remote Production, Commercial Operations and agencies
• Manages cross functional marketing teams to implement our Ad Sales initiatives
• Develops new integration opportunities by creating new consumer enhancement technologies
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year marketing and promotions experience related to sports, media, cable or entertainment industries a plus
• Computer working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays?
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal communication, and creative skills required
• Knowledge of studio and remote productions functions while working with and assisting in their team
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; meet deadlines and work as part of a team while also being able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Possess great organizational skills and have proven track record for following through on projects and creating new opportunities
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, or related major preferred
