This is a Full Time Job
Acts as liaison for Third Party Team between Production and Contingent Workforce Management, Broadleaf Solutions, CXC Global, ESPN Legal and other ESPN Departments. Advises business partners and stakeholders on compliance questions in accordance with Workforce Classification guidelines. Responsible for dealing with time-sensitive materials and decisions, including processing hiring requisitions through Web-Playbook and IQNavigator. During Production peak times, is often required to work non-traditional hours.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the timely and efficient requisitioning and scheduling of supplemental workers.
• Tracks and maintains profiles for remote employees/supplemental workers.
• Responsible for the review and approval of time cards and expense reports to ensure compliance with defined policies.
• Provide strong customer service and advise internal and external stakeholders on best practices.
• Builds and maintains relationships with event supplemental workers, vendors, and ESPN staff from at least 20 different departments through both challenging and positive experiences.
• Provides input to resolve conflicts that may arise between personnel and team/stakeholders.
• Consistently communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders and supplemental workers.
• Act as liaison between ESPN Legal and other departments to ensure the proper engagement of resources.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must possess strong communication skills (i.e. clear and concise in all forms of communication, ability to handle high-volume email and phone traffic as well as in-person interactions).
• Must possess strong organizational skills (i.e. budgeting time and prioritizing workload, accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, ability to implement systematic processes and organize information flow).
• Demonstrates ability to take initiative; suggests ideas and solutions to problems that arise or before they occur.
• Has demonstrated ability to react quickly and positively under a wide variety of sensitive production situations that arise and are subject to continual change.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Office 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A minimum of 2 years of business operations experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of the following systems/tools:
• WebEx and/or Blue Jeans, Slack
• NCS, ENPS, Playbook, Autoflow Invoice Management
• Concur, Kronos, Microstrategy, and SAP
• Possesses working knowledge of television production and role responsibilities of a production crew.
• Has some experience in various aspects of production management (i.e. processing contracts and invoices, creating, maintaining and distributing production information, travel management, production personnel scheduling/staffing, and payroll policies).
• Has some production financial management experience.
• Has demonstrated ability to learn and progress during times of sensitive production situations that arise and are subject to continual change.
• Must be able to analyze basic data sets and formulate an employable solution.
Required Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
