Job Summary:
The ESPN Miami office serves primarily as an ad sales office for Latin America. The Asset Management team supports all sales driven initiatives from a planning, pricing, inventory and revenue perspective.
The multimedia planning team, alongside the inventory and business intelligence teams, makes up ESPN Asset Management. The department's core responsibility is planning, implementing and optimizing all multimedia campaigns for the Miami office and local offices in the region. The multimedia planning team works closely with the inventory department to set strategies regarding inventory & pricing to leverage all of ESPN's ad sales assets. Furthermore, the multimedia planning team collaborates with creative solutions and research to create full content packages and sponsorship's for ESPN's key partners.
Responsibilities:
• Manage multimedia campaign from the creation, pricing and strategy, to the implementation and optimization stages.
• Build multi-platform campaigns using ESPN assets in Latin America.
• Utilize inventory and pricing strategies to maximize all ESPN planning.
• Become an expert in ESPN portfolio of products and assets in the region to help build packages.
• Strategically advise Sales Executives on ESPN products and platforms.
• Leverage research, creative solutions and marketing to help drive campaign success.
• Gain expertise in DFP/Free-Wheel digital systems, as well as Advisor and NCS television systems.
• Service accounts in the form of client communication including campaign performance, delivery of materials and campaign optimization.
• Work closely with business intelligence and business operations to track and document monthly and quarterly revenue on all platforms.
• Work closely with digital editorial and social teams.
• Attain deep understanding of ESPN Ad Sales and all the stakeholders involved.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of agency/media experience required.
• Experience with digital media.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to improve processes and create long term strategies.
• Basic understanding of pricing and inventory concepts.
• Sports enthusiast and basic knowledge of Latin America sport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in Excel (Macros, V-Lookups, and Pivots) and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work as part of a team with shared responsibilities under strong deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of strategic planning in media.
• Experience with television media.
• Media research experience (IBOPE/Nielsen, Adobe Analytics and/or Omniture).
• Strong knowledge of digital & social media sales and marketing.
• In depth knowledge of the Miami media marketplace.
• Core understanding of Latin America business.
• Strong leadership skills.
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics or Finance or Masters in Business Administration, Economics or Statistics.
