Integration Producer Content Integration, Studio Production
Job Summary:
Interprets and directs the priorities of each ESPN network in a manner complementary to the proper documentation and presentation of all programming. Anticipates all possible situations that may affect individual networks and develops various options in response. Oversees a single team while maintaining a leadership role within the department and broadcast center. Adheres to the ESPN brand strategy and departmental guidelines.
Responsibilities:
• Develops strategic responses to any potential areas of concern by reviewing all programming, production and sales guidelines in advance or reacting to situations as they occur on-air.
• Interacts with studio and remote producers, coordinating producers, directors and programmers on a daily basis relaying editorial decisions and other essential information as it pertains to each individual's area of responsibility.
• Assumes various on and off-line projects as assigned and/or approved by department management, providing progress reports, target date for completion and follow-up.
• Demonstrates complete proficiency regarding ESPN standard procedures for individual sports as well as specific sports rules that can impact the editorial integration of each network.
• Executes market protection and network regionalization scenarios with complete proficiency and accuracy while maintaining the networks' editorial integrity.
• Provides direct, on-line supervision of all Integration Team members, offering appropriate coaching, feedback and performance critiques on a timely and on-going basis.
• Conducts midpoint and yearly Performance Reviews. Addresses any personnel concerns by documenting and correcting any performance issues. Provide feedback and follow-up to department management.
• Assists in the hiring process by participating in interviews of job applicants.
• Assists in managing the staff schedule by reflecting all programming and personnel changes.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of six years television production experience
• Solid, overall knowledge of sports.
Required Education
• High School Diploma
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree in communications or related field of study
