The Production Coordinator plays a key role in ESPN’s Content division, supporting workforce planning and business operations. This role is responsible for scheduling resources, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies while identifying efficiencies in processes and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute workforce planning and resource allocation for ESPN’s Content division
• Schedule personnel, manage vendor contracts, and track paid time off
• Analyze content scenarios and develop resource plans
• Maintain knowledge of business processes and ensure adherence to company policies
• Partner with internal departments (Production, Operations, HR, Legal)
• Develop, implement, and enhance workflow processes and technology tools
• Provide training to team members and stakeholders
• Ensure appropriate timelines are met for all projects
• Handle confidential and time-sensitive materials
Daily Tasks May Include:
• Processing hiring requisitions and workforce planning
• Drafting and managing short-term contracts for various vendors and roles
• Tracking and managing contract information in internal systems
• Reviewing and approving timecards and expenses per company policies
• Coordinating vendor setup and troubleshooting with Disney Shared Services
• Creating, distributing, and organizing business reports and data
• Remaining accessible during peak production times, including non-traditional hours
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of experience in business, production, personnel, or operations
• Strong organizational, budgeting, and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience processing contracts, invoices, and scheduling resources
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
