Job Summary:

The Affiliate Marketing Associate Manager will:
• Work on specific marketing initiatives with our key distributors.
• Work with respective internal sales/marketing teams and external distribution clients to initiate, develop, and execute strategic marketing partnerships that drive acquisition and retention, engagement, demand, and when applicable new product launches for the Disney and ESPN Media Networks portfolio.
• Identify strategies and creative components to support promotion of our portfolio and/or specific networks to ensure brand integrity.
• Proactively provide ongoing marketing guidance and lead in the development of partnerships and campaigns that align and support associated departmental goals.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for supporting and providing management & the coordination of all marketing programs and promotions that drive distributors' goals (acquisition, retention, engagement, new products, value). Build and maintain direct relationships with both account and network contacts, and serve as primary lead on all related day-to-day marketing activities.
• Lead and host formal/informal client meetings ranging from bi-weekly status calls to annual planning presentations and year-end recap reviews.
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of account management tools such as budget tracking, partnership plans, fiscal planning presentations, project/campaign trackers, post merchandise/results.
• Serve client as marketing liaison with regards ABC, Disney, Freeform, and ESPN products and services with knowledge of each network's linear and multiplatform programming offering, relevant research and data insights, and press activity.
• Represent Affiliate Sales and Marketing strategic interests as assigned in relationships and partnerships across ESPN networks and affiliates.
• Collect and process results for post merchandise analysis & ROI, and develop and execute communications vehicles to convey results.
• Work with brand colleagues, network leads, clients, contract admin and finance teams to plan and execute all brand and partnership marketing budgets including contractual marketing funds.
• Effectively lead and manage marketing projects specific to this role and respective accounts, including cross team engagement execution, results assessment and post-merchandising.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years of marketing experience preferably in television or new media content environment in two or more of the following areas: account management, partnerships marketing, brand management.
• Strong fundamental understanding of the competitive landscape and current competitive trends for content distribution partners.
• Strong written and oral skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and analyze data to develop a strong story or distinct positioning.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to generate ideas and new concepts/positioning as it relates to supporting department, company, network, or client goals.
• Sales and/or marketing experience preferably in television or new media content environment.
• Positive attitude.

• Results-driven.
