Full Time Job
Associate Creative Director requires demonstrated knowledge and experience leading creative and design execution for all aspects of deliverables including on-air promotion, identity, print, digital, social, installation and product design. Maintain high-level of design execution while managing multiple direct reports. Lead strategic creative execution and translation of the brand through a wide variety of properties and platforms. Express a solid understanding of design process, concept development and presentation, verbally and visually. Work directly with Brand Marketing leads to translate existing and new campaign creative to in-house executions.
Responsibilities
• Lead design projects from concept to completion for marketing and advertising creative for ESPN sports properties, brands and platforms. Providing creative vision and direction to projects overall.
• Ensure creative continuity from creation through presentation across all consumer/fan touch points including: product, marketing and communication initiatives.
• Work with marketing teams to co-develop and/or execute existing strategies for business growth and brand visibility.
• Oversee development and execution of style guides and branding tools.
• Work closely with other designers and projects managers to manage schedules and balance work load with priorities.
• Translate brand authority and personality into easy to understand visual tools and materials that inspire product development, marketing and sales materials for internal stakeholders, licensees and retail partners.
• Assist sponsors and partners throughout product development process from initial design to production to realize design vision and goals.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 8 year's design experience. Thorough knowledge of design, brand identity development, management, marketing and advertising and sports industry executions.
• Previous experience in directing, managing and leading a team or individual.
• Ability to review, critique and provide clear, executable feedback for all types of design deliverables.
• Experienced in innovative design and brand development.
• Experience partnering with marketing teams to develop creative solutions.
• Experience in designing and developing creative tools and materials to inspire product development. Ability to manage production of tools and materials.
• Thoroughly fluent with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop,and Indesign.

Required Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
