Position Overview: The Manager, Digital Marketing will support the digital team in the implementation of marketing campaigns and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about taking an active role in all facets of the digital marketing process -- contributing to efforts that support strategy, social, creative, publicity and media. Essential to the role is a proactive disposition and exceptional communication skills both with internal and external stakeholders This role reports to the SVP, Digital Marketing and will work closely alongside the VP, Digital/Social Strategy.
Responsibilities:
Work with the digital team to concept, develop and deliver marketing ideas and materials for STX theatrical releases.
Work closely with the digital leadership to implement the execution of the digital initiatives that fulfill on the positioning and marketing strategy
Manage, monitor and support daily social media and have a strong knowledge and proficiency of posting mechanics, community management and best practices of key platforms (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.)
Work with digital and creative teams, as well as outside vendors, to oversee asset management flow, especially timely delivery of all materials for social calendar, media, talent, and other stakeholders
Serve as a day-to-day project manager on digital display ad creative, paid social campaigns, influencer campaigns and other promotional builds / apps
Professionally coordinate various concurrent projects with internal marketing stakeholders and outside vendors
Assist Publicity, Partnerships, Creative, Exhibition and other departments with point of integration with digital, including the delivery and/ or creation of custom creative assets
Must have an enthusiasm for emerging trends and the ability to quickly react in real-time to engagement opportunities on behalf of the studio and film social channels
Act as the on the ground point person for the digital marketing team at various field events including junkets, live events, screenings and promotions.
Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant experience (theatrical, home entertainment, streaming, creative/media agency, etc.)
Outstanding communication skills, written and oral
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and Keynote is preferred
Strong copy writing and copyediting skills
Candidate must demonstrate strong working knowledge/interest in emerging media and new technology platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work with others and as a collaborative team player.
Able to work with and understand the implementation of websites, mobile, digital advertising and social media campaigns.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and possess strong interpersonal
Analytical and quick thinking in a fast-paced environment are essential
