ABOUT THE ROLE!
Equator is seeking a very talented and energetic Production Manager to join our growing creative production studio and manage the execution of our team's photo and video productions. This full-time role involves spearheading multiple client projects and efficiently facilitating project workflows. The primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional project and team management (internal, and external) on all Equator assignments throughout the project lifecycle. We are seeking a Production Manager that will be a partner to Equator's broad network of creatives while simultaneously managing logistical plans and being a wizard in managing budgets of all types. There is room for growth in this role, as there is opportunity for it to expand along with the company. Equator is a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with a rapidly-growing operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing Project Initiation & Close
Guide photo and video productions from budgeting, kick-off and pre-production through to project completion and delivery
Work with executive producers to write scopes and projects plans
Partner with legal team to finalize contract drafts
Work closely with accounts payable to ensure every aspect of the project is smooth, organized, and properly recorded and closed at completion
Managing Workflow of Projects
Build schedules and maintain calendars for assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met or properly adjusted as projects progress
Owning and populating project plans, managing project information via project management tool Monday, and advising on additional organization tools that can provide more efficiency with team workflows
Ensure all team members are using the project management tool appropriately and effectively
Manage production of 2-3 active projects simultaneously, depending on the scale (additional hires will be made on a project basis to support with the execution of productions)
Facilitate all internal production meetings on assigned projects, including but not limited to scheduling and setting milestones and benchmarks
Work closely with executive management to facilitate client facing production meetings on assigned projects
Oversee internal communications on multiple projects and manage Production Coordinator(s) who who will assist on all aspects of production planning and coordination
Manage communication with creative vendors across all types from pre-production through post-production phases
Managing Project Budgets
Revise and improve budget templates to be utilized internally and provide budget estimates for project bids
Manage project budgets ranging from five to seven figures
Ensure projects stay within budget and keep the Executive Producer(s) abreast of project status and expenditures
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
At least three (3) years of experience producing photo and video content, preferably branded content within lifestyle/entertainment fields
Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize against goals and simultaneously juggle multiple projects
Knowledge of video and photo production equipment and vendors
An instinct for storytelling in the digital space
Must have a strong understanding of the logistics
Must have a strong understanding of the post-production process
Ability to clearly communicate with individuals at different levels
