Job Description/Responsibilities:
Entravision Communications, currently has a rare opening for a bilingual commercial Production Assistant in our Creative Services Department for our Denver stations. Are you interested in joining an award winning team? We are seeking a producer for all things creative.
The Radio & TV Production Assistant will aid in the writing, Translating scripts, recording and editing on local Radio and TV commercials. In addition, you will assist the Creative Services Manager with station image, event promotion and public service campaigns. You will be a key member of a talented and driven marketing team, where your ideas really matter. You must be a self-starter with a passion for
storytelling, a well-rounded writer with a love for words and be able to conceptualize strong campaigns across multiple platforms. Must be able to work well with cross-departmental teams and on air talent in our Creative department. Individuals in this role are required to be fully bilingual; able to read, write and speak Spanish fluently as our commercial content is produced in Spanish. Qualified candidates will have an excellent understanding of contemporary non-linear editing use of the following programs: Adobe Creative Suite primarily Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, After Effects and graphic production software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, as well as exceptional skills in writing, Audio & Video editing, graphics integration, and producing skills. Producers are expected to perform in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment and be able to produce projects from concept to completion.
Job Requirements/Qualifications: Qualified candidates will be bilingual (Spanish dominant) with a college degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in local television and news promotion, production and management. Excellent writing skills, adept with grammar, creativity, knowledge of branding and keen eye for consistency is required. We are seeking a team player who is organized and has the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in this fast-paced job. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of broadcast television equipment including but not limited to professional video cameras, video editing equipment, television lighting, directional and Omni-
directional microphones.
