Producer
One of our most successful and nationally syndicated television court shows seeks a Producer to join our hardworking and exciting team. Candidates must have strong research and creative writing abilities with a detail-oriented mindset. Applicants should have experience booking conflict stories and be organized self-starters who are energetic, creative, with the ability to meet tight deadlines for a fast-paced production schedule.
Key Job Responsibilities and Tasks
• Work with Post-Producers, Production Assistants, and Editors throughout projects to ensure deadlines are met and productions run smoothly.
• Create production schedules for crew, liaise between cross functional teams, and manage daily tracking of all assets and approvals.
• Must have strong creative skills and know how to enhance stories and build themes.
• Excellent writing, copy editing and showcasing of content is a must.
• Maintain the delivery schedules and keep development on track through effective communication and collaboration.
• Establish and manage short and long-term project timelines, and ensure commitments are delivered on schedule at the required quality level.
• Identify risks and pain points for the team and identify solutions.
• Ensure that teams are operating in a manner consistent with established protocols.
• Foster a culture of high performance and commitment to quality.
Knowledge and Skills
- Must have experience managing other team members/crews
- Experience producing conflict television preferred
- Strong team player who can demonstrate diplomacy and ability to work well with others
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude
- Must have a high attention to detail, be well organized, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience with an Entertainment Company/Studio is a plus
- BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred
