Associate Producer
One of our most successful and nationally syndicated television court shows seeks an Associate Producer to join our hardworking and exciting team. Candidates must have strong research and writing abilities with a detail-oriented mindset. Applicants should have experience booking conflict stories and be organized self-starters who are energetic, creative, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key Job Responsibilities and Tasks
• Assist Producers on set in completing tasks such as writing, editing, organization, etc.
• Maintain the project schedule and keep development on track through effective communication and collaboration.
• Establish and manage short and long-term project timelines, and ensure commitments are delivered on schedule at the required quality level.
• Identify risks and pain points for the team and identify solutions.
• Ensure that teams are operating in a manner consistent with established protocols.
• Foster a culture of high performance and commitment to quality.
• Various duties include pitching story ideas, organizing scripts and collaborating with Editors to make shot selections.
• Help with a variety of tasks as needed on a day-to-day basis, including research, coordinating tasks, production management, and assisting with production processes.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong team player who can demonstrate diplomacy and ability to work well with others
- Must be self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented setting
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude
- Must have a high attention to detail, be highly organized, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior experience with an Entertainment Company/Studio is a plus
- BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred
