We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Helper / Assembly Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various shop tasks, including material handling, machine operation, assembly work, and general maintenance. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Your Day to Day
• Shop Assistance:
Assist in organizing and maintaining the shop floor.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment as needed.
Keep the workspace clean and free from hazards.
Assist in inventory management, including counting, stocking, and organizing parts.
• Assembly Work:
Assemble parts and components according to work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete assembly tasks.
Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
Assist in packaging and preparing finished products for shipment.
Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and report defects to supervisors.
• Machine Operation & Maintenance:
Assist machine operators with setup and operation of equipment.
Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
Monitor equipment for proper functionality and report any issues.
• Safety & Compliance:
Follow all workplace safety regulations and company policies.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
• Follow safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to company safety guidelines.
Demonstrate the values of the core values and purpose of the organization.
Detailed oriented; with ability to work quickly and accurately.
Willingness to work long hours, often under pressure.
Ability to work weekend and evening hours, as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or shop environment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to [50] lbs).
• Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to noise, heat, and heavy machinery.
• Adherence to company safety standards, including the use of protective gear.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Your Work Environment: In person in our Henderson, NV headquarters. Most work will be performed in an office environment. Travel is estimated at a 5% level.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: The hourly range for this position in Nevada is $21/hour. EPS considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer or future pay increases.
Schedule: Monday to Friday; hours to be determined by supervisor. Weekends as needed
