What We Are Looking For
As a Mechanical Designer 3, you will undertake complex design projects, utilizing your proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Revit. You will be responsible for executing detailed design work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and specifications. This role requires a high level of certification and a strong background in mechanical design and small project leadership. You will have regular interaction with the fabrication shop and project management teams, as well as occasional client interactions and presentations.
Your Day to Day
• Take a leading role in complex mechanical design projects, ensuring integration across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior designers, improving their skills and understanding of advanced design principles.
• Innovate and implement new design methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the detailed documentation and revision of design specifications and standards.
• Engage with clients to gather and interpret requirements, ensuring designs meet or exceed expectations.
• Demonstrate the values of the core values and purpose of the organization.

Your Qualifications
• Preferred: Master's degree (TD/ME/EE) OR Equivalent: 8-year experience as professional designer.
• OSHA: 30 hr. (or willing to obtain within first 3 months of employment).
• Autodesk Certifications: Inventor Certified Expert + Revit for Architectural Design.
• ETCP: Theater Rigging Preferred.
• Rhino: Level 2 Certification.
• AutoCAD drafting experience: Preferred 1+ year.
• Inventor (or equivalent): Preferred 3+ years.
• Revit: Preferred 6+ months.
• Successful on large and medium design build projects.
• Meeting Part specification budgets for their team on a consistent basis (80% of that time for a 2-year project history).

Your Work Environment
Henderson, NV. Most work will be performed in an office environment. Travel is estimated at a 5% level.
Pay: The annual base salary range for this position in Nevada is $60,000 - $80,000. For states not referenced here, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. EPS considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer or future pay increases.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday. Weekends as needed.
