Intern - Entertainment Public Relations

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

POSITION OVERVIEW: Our interns will assist in all areas of the company from Public Relations to Influencer management. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Learning how to put together media lists
Learning how to draft pitches and press releases
Learning PR software tools Cision, MuckRack for PR client lists
Identifying brand partnerships
Team Brainstorming
Attending client events as needed for support (Comic-Con, Film Screenings)
Proofreading and copyediting
Update press reports, and memos for client offers and weekly reporting
Maintain digital press kits and client bios
Flag and process client requests in a timely manner
Monitor Awards coverage, calendars, and deadlines
Create, manage and coordinate both client and executive's schedule/confirmations for interviews, photo shoots, press days and press tours.

QUALIFICATIONS: MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE COLLEGE CREDIT OR EQUIVALENT.

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Public Relations, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field or graduate.
Familiarity with Google Workplace and Zoom
Strong writing and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote environment.
Available during the Pacific Standard time zones
Occasionally may need to meet for in person meetings or client events
Must own a cell phone and computer

OTHER
Schedule: Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 5pm PST
Duration: 3 months (June - September) with possibility to extend for 2 more months.
