We have an exciting opportunity at Central Casting for a Temporary Talent Relations Assistant. This role will assist our Business Partner in all employee relations issues with the background actors we employ. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to break in the HR field or has some previous HR experience as they will get a lot of hands on experience dealing with ER issues. They also get to be an integral part of the world's largest background casting company!
Organize and file talent employment documents and files
Data entry
Assist with research and pulling of appropriate documents and other administrative projects/work as needed.
The ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced, causal environment is essential
Comfortable working in and not easily distracted by regular and loud office noise/buzz and conversation going on throughout the work day
Working overtime when needed
Strong interpersonal skills is essential
Problem-solver
Self-starter
Client service skills (internal and external clients)
Some previous experience in human resources is helpful (wage and hour and employee relations)
Phones, Intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook skills and database (proprietary software).
The ideal candidate will be diligent, detail oriented, accurate, thorough, efficient, self-directed, highly organized, flexible or nimble - able to maneuver effortlessly through changing priorities, a team-player (there will be lots of independent work but we will function as a team - this is important) with experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
Previous experience in Human Resources or Legal is helpful but not required.
