
Junior Tax Credit Analyst

Job Summary:
The Junior Tax Credit Analyst supports the Incentives team in the preparation and management of film and television tax credit files. Working under the guidance of senior staff, the position will assist with budget estimates, file setup, portal uploads, and day-to-day administrative duties to ensure accurate and timely processing of all incentive claims.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare budget estimates for full-shoot projects.
• Prepare estimates for VFX/Post-Production projects
• Set up files for estimates based on actuals for full-shoot projects, including prep files, payroll reconciliations and VFX reconciliation using DPRs.
• Set up full-shoot final files, prep files, P/R reconciliations, DPRs review, residency reviews, and bank statements & VFX LL requests
• Assist with CPA audit.
• Prepare and complete final files for VFX/Post-Production projects including F/S, prepare VFX LL requests, review bank statements and invoices.
• Prepare VFX wires and enter invoices onto PRIME for VFX/Post-Production projects EP provides accounting services for.
• Respond to certification team's questions related to VFX/Post-Production files
• Complete CMO uploads and maintain Incentives Portal entries
• Perform daily review of bank accounts and flag discrepancies. Take required actions.
• Reconcile GST/HST/QST accounts once refunds by CRA/Revenue QC are collected
• Upload documents to Incentives portals.
• Participate in team and client meetings.
• Support Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, film production finance, or a related area (co-op/internship experience considered).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with Canadian film/TV incentive programs is an asset.

Salary/Benefits
