Intern - Public Relations

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Entertainment Fusion Group, a full-service public relations and marketing firm specializing in consumer lifestyle, fashion, talent, social media, branding and event planning seeks an intern to start immediately in our consumer/lifestyle department.
We keep our interns busy in a variety of areas, and encourage each of them to contribute his/her own unique skills, ideas, and passions to our team. We're looking for a talented, aggressive and outgoing aspiring PR pro to actively play a valuable role as part of our team while progressing and honing their public relations skills. It is not necessary but rather welcomed that applicants have previous internship experience. Candidates should be able to multitask, learn quickly, stay organized and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Research media contacts and create strategic media lists for media outreach
• Contribute actively in brainstorms for PR campaigns, activities and events
• Monitor and compile news coverage
• Conduct media relations and develop story angles
• Coordinate schedules
• Assisting with research to maintain our database of industry professionals
• Preparing packages/mailers for shipment

PR interns should be available 3 days a week and be able to work special events in the evening if necessary.
