ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Top line management of the event calendars
• Assist in securing access into local community events
• Work as backup event ambassador when main event coordinator needs assistance or cannot attend events
• Work as liaison with English and Spanish speaking community partners
• Professionally represent CBS Radio and Client needs while out in the community
• Assist in writing and creating full color event recaps and monthly reports
• Communicate with the social media team regarding event activity
• Upload event updates and pictures onto social networking platforms (as needed)
• Provide administrative support to the Director and Project Manager
• Assist management with maintaining current record of partners participation
• Manage vendor orders for distribution network
• Assist in coordinating event set-up and promotional visibility
• Deal with clients in a professional manner and handle problems as they arise
• Handle all partner inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: Comfortable working on a sexual health educational campaign for the Department of Public Health, focusing on HIV and STD prevention in Spanish & English. Must be an ambitious, energetic and proactive self-starter who possesses excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Position requires excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proficiency with MS Office and Powerpoint is a must. Experience and basic knowledge of social networking platforms required. Valid driver's license and excellent driving record required. Must be experienced in driving large event vehicles (or comfortable learning), up to 36 feet long (RV size - no special license required). Proficient in Spanish preferred.
