Entercom New York is looking for high energy individuals to join our team. You must show passion for New York Radio and most importantly our Entercom brands, which include breakout stations ALT 92.3, New York's Country 94.7 and NEW 102.7, iconic WFAN Sports Radio and WCBS-FM, as well as our two news powerhouses, 1010 WINS-AM and WCBS-AM 880.
This is a part-time, flex schedule position with a great organization that allows you to get your foot in the door in a fast-paced media company. The Promotions Assistant position here in New York is unlike any other – this market allows the opportunity for a multitude of desired skillsets including in-field marketing, event production, live broadcast assistance, photography, videography, editing, social media coordination, office assistance and so on. No two days in New York are the same.
You may assist with the execution of station activation's , set up and promoting the station at the events, capturing onsite content, and working with client sponsors. You regularly interact with our passionate listeners to create a positive station image, give away merchandise and execute station activation . You are the face of the station!
Assistance with Entercom New York's tent pole yearly events is required such as WFAN Radio Network Yankees FanFest, ALT 92.3's Not So Silent Night, New York's Country 94.7 Stars and Strings concert, NEW 102.7 Up Close and Personals, 880 Small Business Breakfast, 1010 WINS Grant Challenge, CBS FM Blast Off to Summer Live broadcast as well as dozens of performances in our Radio.com Theatre.
This team is responsible for spreading the word and passion for our stations to the masses by taking to the street... and as a result, Promotions Assistants are required to drive our station vehicles as directed and may be required to lift, set-up and tear down equipment. We are looking for energetic, dependable, flexible team members who use sound judgement and have an outgoing personality that are ready to roll up their sleeves and have fun!
• Must be 18 or older
• Valid Driver's License with a good record
• Must be able to drive station branded vehicles
• Must be able to lift, set-up and tear down equipment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule – ideally able to commit to a minimum of 3 days a week
• Weekend availability is required • Multimedia production experience is preferred. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Premiere
• DSLR cameras, and basic studio setup is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Newtek technologies (Tricaster) a huge plus
