Part Time Job
Part-Time position working with on- and off-air website contributors to create, edit and publish content for WTIC's website and social media channels. Job responsibilities include managing content on WTIC's Facebook and Twitter pages with focus on connecting with target audience and growing followers, editing and writing original stories for station website, and creating other multimedia content as needed. Preferred availability is Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. Max 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Required skills: Experience managing social media pages for a business; Strong writing skills and the ability to craft well-written, original stories from a variety of content sources; BA in Journalism or Communications, or min. 2 years previous experience in the field of journalism or news media required.
Preferred skills: Graphic Design skills, including Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements preferred.
