Unpaid Development Internship
Engel Entertainment, an Emmy award winning production company is looking for TV Development interns for the Fall 2018 semester. Interns will work 2 to 3 days/ week from 10:30am to 6:00pm.
Do you have an interest in creating original programming? Have you ever wondered how an idea becomes a hit TV show or a movie? This may just be the internship for you!
As a development intern you will be assisting the development team with all day- to- day tasks such as but not limited to:
- Researching topics for potential projects
- Transcribing footage
- Writing treatments
- Creating graphics
- Opportunity to conduct Skype interviews
- Assist with cutting casting reels
- Possibility to work on development shoots (NYC Based)
-Working with editors, organizing media, etc.
An ideal candidate should:
- Posses a strong passion for TV Development
- Have thorough knowledge of pop culture and the current TV landscape
- Have experience with a variety of editing software, preferably Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop or After Effects
- Knowledge of Skype, Keynote, and Google Docs preferred.
