Overview:
Performs routine maintenance duties and repairs to building and office facilities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees maintenance of HVAC units along with HVAC maintenance vendors
• Makes minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Oversees and ensures work performed by contracted services
• Completes and/or performs special assignments and minor construction projects, utilizing skills including painting, drywall repair, etc.
• Builds and/or moves office furniture
• Sets up special events
• Manages off-site storage warehouse and inventory
• Reconciles petty cash
• Maintains company vehicle
Skills
& Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry experience preferred.
• Must be well organized.
• Must possess valid California Driver License with a good driving record.
• Knowledge of OSHA safe work practices.
• Computer software skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications such as MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
• Good time management skills
• Safely operate hand and power tools used in maintaining buildings and facilities.
• Lift and move moderately heavy objects, work from ladders
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisors
• Work outside of normal work office hours (M-F, 9:30am-6:30pm) when needed
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to submit to a background check (includes DMV).
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
